How we designed new app for Evidensia

Evidensia wanted to design a new app and needed a senior Visual Designer/UX. Tech Relations appointed Mikael during 12 month in 2022.

About Evidensia:
Evidensia, is the European leader in veterinary care wanted to enable digital vet care due to an increase in pressure on vet practices, caused by a rise of two million pets in the UK during the pandemic.

The Project:
From scratch, Mikael created an app for the UK market that would free up time for veterinarians and enable digital vet care for customers. The app was released under the name My Family Vets.

 

Mikaels Role:
Involved from the start of the project. Worked as the sole visual/UI designer across three agile teams. Was responsible for the visual design and building of UI components/design system, all from scratch. As well as being the UX designer for one of the teams, I also supported ten front-end developers and product owners.

The result:
In June 2022 an MVP was released in the UK (available on both App Store and Google Play). Both stakeholders and users have given the app great feedback.  This is what our customer Evidensia is saying about working with Tech Relations:
